What Students Have to Say

My experience was very inspirational. I’ve gotten the opportunity to meet many wonderful people... I want to help everyone with everything from food insecurity to helping college students fill out college applications and enrolling into further education... I want to primarily help minorities. I enjoy everyone I’ve met and I hope these are lifelong connections.

We joined together in the evening for a spiritual, musical reflection as our group member played the mandolin and sang beautiful love songs to God... We upheld each other and withheld judgment... We served the poor again at Central Union Mission and it was absolutely glorious. We felt joy in serving the homeless in the men’s shelter.

In all the wretchedness I have witnessed, never have I ever felt such a weighted amount of love and interest in friends I effortlessly made in merely a handful of days. I feel as though I have known these people throughout my life. I’ve seen how the gentle light of companionship can wash away the devastation... I will never be the same because now I am better.
