Retreats in all seasons provide an oasis of rest, fun, play, prayer, reflection, good food, a nature walk/hike, skiing, sledding, bonfire, north of Columbus at Templed Hills in Belville or an adventure to Turkey Run State Park in Indiana or an after noon into the evening a Alum Creek State beach for swimming, volley ball, a grilled supper, sunset prayer and conversation.
BiblePods are Bible study, prayer and reflection in small gatherings around campuses following Jesus’ call that “Where two or three are gathered together, there I am in the midst of them…” (Matthew 18:20) Students meet in small pods—two or three, around lunch, after class—and share the themes of the Gospel and how they relate to every day life.
Group Pastoral Counseling
From time to time as individuals with mutual concerns and issues present themselves, group pastoral counseling has been available. Students gather for 8 to 10 consecutive sessions around the theme of the Effect of Transition on the Faith Experience. A group of up to ten students provides the opportunity to share individual life challenges.
